https://youtube/watch?v=R_8xXA3Aejo Alright, heres the last one for our tribute to the WDC, WDMC, PE, etc. week. For the last film that was Friday, I figured lets end this special week with the last film that used the orange-red FBI screens and the 1989 WDC logo. Sounds appropriate that we end the week with this film, and that films Fantasia. Ive been trying to get this one for weeks, but could never find time for it, until now. Anyway, this technically counts as a WDC title, even though theres no mention of the WDC series anywhere on the case or tape. Rumor has it actually that this may not have been intended for the WDC series, but rather a deluxe edition, although it still opens with the WDC logo anyway. But, thats another story. Anyway, before this playing on Friday, last time it was played, it was most frequent film of the year. I guessed I felt I needed to give the film a rest, but maybe I gave it too much of one though. But, it doesnt matter now, because we have with us again. This is one of my favorites, its #7 on my list of favorite films. Its Walt Disneys grand epic masterpiece. A film that boats some fantastic animation, music, and atmosphere. It also feels more like a grown up film too, almost like it was made for them. Although kids can get into this film, mainly with The Sorcerors Apprentice, it wasnt exactly their film. On the other hand, I saw this film as a kid, and I was still fine with it then. Now, the second half of the film I liked the best out of the film. Dont get me wrong, I love the first half, and it does have some beautiful segments there, but the second half I love more because I love the segments they have for that one. Pastoral Symphony Ive praised before with beautiful animation, great music, and storyline. Its what Hercules dreams of being. Dance of the Hours is great, but no contest, Night on Bald Mountain and Ave Maria are the best parts of this film. Its all awesomeness Overall, a great film and one of my favorites. Theres a reason why its one of Disneys finest. I love it very much. Well, thats all for this week, and well see with another week of films next week. See you then!
