The reality is that there is something to be fearful of. Back in the days, it was the cold war and the fear of a nuclear bomb. Now it can be catching a train in Madrid, a bus in London, asking for a coffee in Sydney, going to work in Nairobi or New York. Before it was ideollogy..Capatalism opposed to Communism. Now it is a religion and its proponents who wish to impose their values and beliefs at any cost..in the name of their faith on others. I will say that Islam, and other faiths, is setting our growth as humanity back to the middle ages. Give me one example of good that has been done in the name of one religion that couldnt be done in the name of another. Is compassion exclusive? Understanding of others beyond your own belief...when you believe in the one and only god, and in whose name you can blow up innocent people, or cut their heads off Makes no sense. But religion doesnt!
