And I believe that they thought, those settlements were the best result for Michael. They wanted to keep him out of a courtroom and let him do his music & his performance art. Get him away from the lawyers, I understand that completely. Unfortunately I think the decision to settle those cases was a disaster. And I think the settlements opened Pandora´s Box and resulted in his criminal case 2004 -2005. As well as the current Wade Robson, Jimmy Safechuck civil cases where they changed their opinions about what happend. They appear to have completely changed their memory of the facts and are seeking money. Now,..I don´t know whether a judge will throw these cases out or not, I THINK A JUDGE SHOULD. They have been filed awfully late. Michael Jackson is not here to defend himself. But if a judge does not throw these cases out... I do not have great faith that Mr. Weitzman & Mr. Branca will try these cases effectively in front of a judge or jury. My guess is that if a judge does not throw these cases out there will be a settlement & money will be paid by the estate, I hope that does not happen. But my guess is that Mr. Branca & Mr. Weitzman do not want a trial to defend. That is my guess. I don´t know. I´m not in their minds. They do not want to let this case go to a public trial. Unfortunately Robson & Safechuck´s lawyers know that. They know they´re being opposed by some lawyers with a history of being involved with Michael Jackson when he settled cases, so I´m hoping a judge throws these cases out. I´m hoping they never reach the trial stage. If they do, I´m not that confident in the lawyers defending these cases, to be very honest. And I certainly hope they don´t pay money and try to settle with these people because I think this would be a DISASTER! William J. Wagener: Did anyone among the MJ estate contact you to get your legal advice, Tom? Tom Mesereau: No one, on behalf of the estate, has contacted me about being an attorney in the Wade Robson Jimmy Safechuck civil cases and nobody has asked my advise on how to defend them. William J. Wagener: Do you think it would be a good idea if they did ask your advise? Tom Mesereau: Well, I certainly would be willing to give them my views on why we won in Santa Maria in 2005.
