The song talks about feelings changing but also raises the question that some people are afraid to confront. What if its you who changed all along? That you wanted more but the person never changed at all but it just seemed this way because YOU wanted more. What if it was you who really struck out first and couldnt stop until the damage was done? At the end of the day, be thankful for what you have. And dont let things deteriorate until its too late.
