https://youtube/watch?v=kRQX6AAqrRI&feature=youtu.be This is a peek into the Christmas street preaching of my former ministry and church mate Ellis. She is preaching the good news in the Stockholm shopping street. Now, it may be good to add to the word also some action, and pray for the sick, but maybe she did, we cannot see that. In any way, there are many ways to share Christ, and she has chosen that way. You may choose to do different and maybe make the most of the windows of opportunity, recognising the Hand of God behind God-encounters or encounters with people whom He may send your way. Or maybe you are more into the demonstration of your faith, and pray for the sick and the bound, or minister in other ways. God is creative and there is not just one way how to share Jesus, but we, every believer in Christ, are all called to do that. How? That is already between us and Holy Spirit who can show us and open us several ways. It is not about the length of our message, or to how many we preach, but about the efficiency. And finally about our willingness to be used as His witness. We all have a testimony to share. We do not have to preach long or complicated messages, filled by many Scriptures to the people who do not know Him simply for they may find it hard to follow. But our message, our testimony speaks. Nobody can argue with that. We can always share it whenever the opportunity. For it is something we have seen and heard and experienced firsthand, which testifies of the goodness of our God. We share for we have found something - the love and kindness and mercy and grace of our God. We have found peace and forgiveness. There are many people wandering around, seeking for solutions. Some may be bound by hopelessness, the others by other things. And if they are bound, they know it. We have the keys to their freedom. We can boldly go and offer our prayer for the sick. I do not know what happened to the guesthouse owner who was suffering from awful pain due to a medical condition she had, but I prayed for her, and she was so grateful. Now, we are not the ones who heal anyone. But God has chosen us for a co-operation with Him. He tells us to go lay our hands on the sick and our step of obedience releases the healing power and He has promised that the sick will recover. How? That is not up to us to decide. He is the Healer. It is His job. I know several people who have faced death, myself included. But God stepped in and changed the course of history. With Him, it becomes His-story where He gets the glory. He is a good God, and we can always testify of the good things He has given and done to us and share the hope we have received. Not for we have to, for there is no must in Christ. But because we want to. Remember the time when you were so desperately in love, that all you wanted to do was to talk how handsome, how wise and how good the person who was the target of your affection was. Maybe you live in that moment today. Then you can well understand what I am talking about. We share the goodness of God, for we love Him, and we do not want to withhold the knowledge and whatever He has done and given to us, to ourselves only. We share His love, out of the passion burning in our heart. God bless you! Have a great Sunday with your church family!
