https://youtube/watch?v=q9ayN39xmsI I have witnessed beautiful love stories in my life, but this year I have been blessed to see one of the greatest love stories of all time. Several years ago a dear friend, Lisa Files was diagnosed with Breast cancer . We all witnessed courage faith and devotion as her loving husband Jeff cared for her. He was her rock and support. She recovered! For a little over a year now Jeff has been struggling with ALS. It has been a blessing and an honor to watch them hold hands, look into each others eyes and actually see conversations of love being transferred beyond words. Whenever I think Lisa needs a break, I realize he is her oxygen. She cant bear to leave his side. There is a deeper understanding of what love can mean from 10 seconds around them. When Robin Williams passed away. I visited with them. I told them my favorite quote from his movies. it was from Good Will Hunting. When Robin Williams delivered a speech saying , You cant tell me what it is like to wake up next to a woman and feel truly happy. I ask you about love youd probably quote me a sonnet, but youve never looked at a woman and felt totally vulnerable, known someone that could level you with her eyes. Feeling like God put an angel on earth just for you, who could rescue you from the depths of Hell. And, you wouldnt know what its like to be her angel to have that love for her be there forever. Through anything, cancer, and you wouldnt know about sleeping sitting up for months holding her hand because the doctors could see in your eyes that the term visiting hours doesnt apply to you. You dont know about real love until you have loved someone more than you could ever love yourself and watched it slipping away.: Then Lisa and Jeff spoke simultaneously and said he (she) has been Gods angel to me. Then they looked at each other and you could touch love, actually touch the power around them. In their bedroom there is a little sign that says i only wish i knew you sooner so i could have loved you longer. That may be true for earth, but i honestly believe their souls knew each other for millenniums and we have had the blessing of witnessing their union for 21 years. watching them endure together the world has discovered fire for the second time. I feel blessed beyond measure to have been able to see there love. It ignites light. They are one of the most stunning couples from the outside! But its like a candle to the sun when we consider the beauty within them! Thank you for showing the world how we are supposed to love! You have loved for a thousand years and you will for a thousand more!!!!!!
