This car would likely be good for 150 mph. Has a 292 degree duration Iskenderien camshaft, (full race), doesnt idle below 1200 rpm; twin-stall speed torque converter wired permanently in 3000 rpm stall speed. Isky cams dont start measuring duration until .050 lifter height, so on other manufacturers of camshafts, would be more like 312 degree duration. Cruising easy around town it gets 8 mpg, pedal to the metal at 120 (and climbing) it is getting 2 mpg. Thats the big cam and big 800 cfm Holley doing its job. Thats at the rate of 2 quarts of gasoline per minute through the carb. Hey - - speed costs money!
