https://youtube/watch?v=safe9elPvOo This is probably my favorite scene in cinema history...Its just the complete vindication of the warrior and the transformation of the soul. He swore not to kill anymore, even though he was the best warrior. Yet, for love, he is willing to let it all go and sacrifice his very soul to save another. I think feeling that way about another human being may be the best feeling in the world. I miss the battles of the old, where skill and drive and discipline and love and strategy actually mattered. In the days of the sword and spear, a small army can take out a much larger force... Now, war is ugly and meaningless because whoever has the superior technology wins, and that takes away from the soul of the warrior... There no wars worth fighting for anymore. I want to bring back the old way of warfare, in a sport fashion. That would be much more interesting than all the silly games people play. Not gladiator combat where people actually die, but with some type of armor and electronic system that can score points and stimulate the old ways of fighting... I think something beautiful was lost with the introduction of guns and technological warfare. I mean, in the old days, a supremely skilled warrior could take on a thousand man, or even ten thousand man...Nowadays, that would be impossible. And when you killed another person with the sword, their soul actually went into your body and they became a part of you. Its quite cool.
