https://youtube/watch?v=uFDS-VEEl6w I had to listen to this interview again and provide further elaboration. Ebro admits he is jewish (listen here https://youtube/watch?v=ImVO954pu3Y) which is fine but this also helps me see where some of his motives may come from. For those who dont know... according to jewish law if your mom is a jew then you are a jew...Which marks where his loyalty lies...Which means he has connections to those who run the corporate commercialized hip hop industry...And jews run that and all other parts of the entertainment industry...Remember, it was jews who told Danny Glover that they would not only support his project about the Haitian revolution but that they would block his movie as well if he tried to put it out...Nonetheless, Ebro proceeded to give Azealia Banks advice...But as she responded, advice for what??? She clearly could care less about remaining loyal to the corporate white interest and the white power structure and acquiescing to what they want her to be which is to not speak out about race, or systemic racial issues when she is not making music. She is doing her thing her way and fans over seas love her and she does her tours in non-mainstream circles outside of the U.S. Ebro stated that it was a big thing to have elite white validation by using Jay Zs acknowledgement by british royals at a basketball game as an example. Personally, I feel that Jay Z getting an acknowledgement from some elite white is not progress for Black people. And Azealia Banks asserted the same position in her response which I applaud her for doing. Jay Z is a buffer and why is Ebro encouraging other Black folk to be flabbergasted about white validation. I personally dont trust Ebro and I dont believe he truly wants real freedom and justice for Black people especially if it rocks the boat of the white power structure and what they validate. This is why I believe he is a gatekeeper to the white power structure. He has urban swag but he understands that he is the first line of defense in talking Black artist who have intellectual fire out of not having those thoughts nor expressing them because he fears that her spark may catch flame in the souls of other Black folk and rock the white power structure which he not only has loyalty to but which he has also been placed in a position to protect and defend.
