Full of passion... a Big film, involved a lot of things, actors, actresses, extras, challenges, difficulties.... When I was watching,,, I was crying... two old men sitting next to me... touchable, loveable, adorable, compassionate, and I didnt know there is part 2, part 2 is more like Titanic...!! I think is better than Titanic... It is a real history but changed little bit.. 1940s, Japan invaded China and conquered, after Japan surrendered, Chinese ppl fight against each other, the communist vs republican. the three dating couples somehow cannot be together forever, one back to Taiwan, then one back to China... cause they were living and surviving in the WAR history, you cannot choose whatever in your life... You may die in the war next second... cannot promise to your lover anything,,, if you do, and break the promise, that is a LIE! and if your lover die or you never can find him or her anymore or both of you separate in two diff world forever which is too Painful... Nobody wants!!! I wondered if I was surviving in that time, what would I be ? A soldier ? a Bad guy ? Be a selfish man ? Love can be romantic, but living in the war years, it was very difficult. John Woo director is a Deep person and he can put everything in a movie which is very difficult. Exciting for part 2
