I remember hearing about the first game when it came out back in 2005 but never actually got around to playing it myself until 3 or 4 years ago when I found a copy of the first game for cheap at a gamestop. Fast foward to now and I pretty much love this series to death and Kazuma Kiryu has become one of my favorite protagonists ever in an action game. I plan to possibly do a Yakuza marathon stream sometime in the future around Yakuza 5s release. Hope this video gives a good explanation on what this series is about and maybe interest a few of you to try and hunt down a copy of the first game and give it a spin yourself
