We are working with international publishing houses such as Cambridge University Press, Pearson Education, Oxford University Press and more and we are looking to recruit an in-house Junior Editor and a Production Assistant for our offices in Thessaloniki. The Junior Editor will need to have an excellent command of the English language, a good eye for detail, strong grammar and spelling skills, a methodical working style, the ability to multitask, manage time and work to tight deadlines. Good IT skills, visual sense, ELT teaching experience and a thorough knowledge of the Greek language are also welcome. The Production Assistant will need to have a thorough knowledge of the English language, strong organisational, communication and negotiation skills and excellent project management skills. Design skills, strong language skills (English and Greek expected, other languages a bonus) and a close attention to detail are also welcome. The job will include working closely with in-house editorial staff and freelance editors and designers worldwide to manage the production process from manuscript to delivery of ready to print books.
