i-OPINE: Well is this the kind of management Sir Frank Alleyne is alluding to? Governments of the region continue to treat the monies workers have accumulated for their retirement as if its their piggybank. But I have stopped blaming the governments because the ppl to whom the monies belong continue to act as if its not to their detriment, as if they are helpless to do anything about it, as if its not their business. Why because support for this action is seen through partisan political lenses. They either support the administration of the day and then have no problem with it or attack the measure because they oppose the administration. Why hasnt the regions Trade Unions who say their role is to champion to workers cause, arent the same workers being injured. Fifty-percent of the funds in Barbados has been borrowed by the government, if its not properly invested it represents monies that ppl who worked hard and had to send to money to the government by the force of law could go into retirement having nothing. When our ppl eyes open and speak up?
