i changed my phone number a couple years ago and have been sucked into the dramatic lives of its previous owners ever since. at first, i resented constant calls for regina and justin: aggressive bill collectors who refused to believe i wasnt regina, job offers from Lowes Hardware, urgent calls from doctors, texts from friends and relatives, etc. I would tell utility companies to take my number off file, but i think R & J kept giving it out to avoid the constant harrassment that i now was receiving. At one point, I googled these people because i knew their full names, their family members names, where they worked, where they lived, etc, i was getting multiple calls every day so i googled them to be like dudes, stop giving people your old number! but when i found them, the picture of the harried looking couple with their tiny, tiny baby made me feel sad. they looked so stressed out. they were smiling but they looked miserable. constant calls from doctors offices led me to believe something was wrong with their baby, which must have been an expensive nightmare. why then did they still have cable television! i should have cancelled it for them on one of the dozen or so times i talked to comcast on their behalf. what was in their storage space and why did they never pay the storage bill? did she ever accept that job at lowes? so many questions. the calls are less frequent now, but today at 6 am i was awoken by a call from the police looking for them. regina and justin..wherever you are..i hope you are ok..but if not, you know who to call...NOT ME
