i created a group that you might want to be part of? weve talked about leveling the playing field now for our kababayans in caught in the deadly snare of generational poverty. i deeply believe in the transformative powers of a library. a library, to me, is sacred space. a place where mankinds best minds are just within easy reach. a place where we can put these children trapped in heartrending poverty on higher ground--where they can see a wider vista the world and their possible place in it than where they sit now--in the bottom of a dark well that the severely impoverished are made to sit. rebuilding a country is a huge undertaking and it is not any one persons sole responsibility --not even the presidents. but we can all each do our share, however small. i have done this--building little reading corners. it is, easily, the most soul-satisfying work i have ever done. i wish you this same soul-satisfying experience. join us. change our country one child at a time. thank you, thank you.
