i dont have the words to describe how important the intersection - TopicsExpress

i dont have the words to describe how important the intersection of music, movement, and healing have been for me. that trifecta has come together in my life in ways that have left me humbled, exalted, inspired, grateful and -most importantly- connected, over and over and over again. more than any other human (re)creation, our capacity to intelligently/intentionally utilize the elemental forces of music to support healing and wholeness leaves me breathless. i cant think of anything else i would rather devote my remaining years to. i cant think of anything else i would rather endure all the miserable aspects of academia for. (the fun aspects im excited about.) i cant think of anything else i would rather work really, really hard to be good at. currently im freshly 30 and without any sort of degree, endowed with a unique wealth of life experiences, diligently striving to complete the most recent Australia/TaKeTiNa chapter of my life. its still going to take some time to complete that chapter, but today im calling it: my next chapter will be getting my BA in music therapy. reading this sealed the deal: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_therapy. Id like to have it by the time Im 35, well see what life has in store. wish me luck! step one will probably be getting my associates degree from Berkeley City College, and Im definitely going to be the old guy in class...
