i dont kno if i can ask questions here but here goes nothing, a friend of mine literally about 15 minutes ago asked me to start his car and listen for a sound im not to big on foreign cars only have skill in American made cars but when i started it the engine would shake and the shifter its a 5speed 2007 i believe civic non si. just a regular coupe civic. all stock besides intake, but thats besides the point. so when i put it in Reverse and let of the clutch at 1,000 rpms to 1,500 rpms and just let it pretty much come close to stalling. it would make a weird noise now i do kno how to drive a standard just seeing what it would do, but now when i didnt let it stall and drove in 1st gear @ 2,500 rpms and let it drop slowly the noise would come and go. it oh most sounded like the car was reved at 3-4k. the noise when it was just in nutrual. im just basing it off what i think it sounded like dont hold me to it. i am thinking exhaust or engine. woundering if anyone else had this issue, miles on the car are around 65k pretty low miles for a honda i think we all kno this sorry if i aint allowed to post this just wondering what you guys/girls may think it would be, and who can i take the car to to get it looked at. i am located in wilmington mass. not trying to pay a arm and a legg for someone to listen to a weird noise. thanks for reading.
