i dont know why i need to announce my sleepiness these last couple days. perhaps im trying to convince myself. have to be up at 8:30 tomorrow/today. Deerhoof is among my favorite rock and roll bands. but they are not really a rock and roll band. and this is one of their least rock and roll songs. they have a new album out, though. it is called la isla bonita. it is, as always, brilliant. ive been a fan of them since the beginning. my favorite album of theirs is still reveille, which completely blew my mind. and it is very rock and roll. and i am so not rock and roll. but this video has nothing to do with that. its just a great video and shows how they are an amazing band with a ton of contradictions. and thats why i love them. now, im probably going to go to sleep. maybe.
