i forgot to mention that this past saturday after watching the game at my grandmas, i VERY nearly got stuck. I was driving by the entrance to the fair grounds (where the ice rink is located) and saw the lights on there. I thought, hey, he said that he wasnt plowing it out. why are the lights on? maybe he did. maybe its a conspiracy against me. so in i started to drive. i soon realized, shit! the driveway over to the rink isnt even plowed out. by then id drove in about 15 feet and realized i was in unplowed wet snow, and i couldnt move as i tried to back up. I was in 4W drive but there was lots of spinning, i kept moving forward and then trying to find a spot where it would move in reverse. im sure the neighbors across the street must have heard all the noise i was making. i jammed on the gas and finally freed the truck nearly running into their mailboxes. but nothing happened. no fish no fowl. thats how i regard all my little near misses. i was pleased that i had got out. of course, my dear viewers, this is just between you and me as i definitely didnt tell my father.
