i had a rough morning today because of the snow that was pouring since last night, getting into my way to work... i missed the 370 bus by a minute because i had to walk slower than usual... calling a cab didnt help because the taxi driver chose to pick another passenger instead of me... i ended up waiting for another taxi but another 370 bus arrived sooner than it did... off to the hospital, i knew id be late for more than the grace period of 7 minutes... i even got a little later than i assumed because the bus driver was not paying attention when i pulled the stop... and i needed to walk into the deep snow on the sidewalk a block away from the hospital... but i kept in mind this verse from the bible that my best friend told me: bless a thing and it will bless you; curse a thing and it will curse you... i was ready to curse, but i tried not to because i understood that there were things happening to other people worse than what i was into... and sometimes even complaining doesnt seem to resolve an issue - in this case i knew it wont... i am consoled that one of my cases was cancelled... i had enough help i could ask of... i was offered for a ride, in case the bus is impossible and a taxi driver chooses which passenger to pick again... this was one of those days, they say... well, it can happen to anybody - IT HAPPENS ... now moving forward... ITS ALMOST TIME TO BE 40... HEHEHEHEH... and by the way, thanks a lot for all my well-wishers... its 11th in the philippines so, i am receiving birthday greetings while its still the 10th in Capital Region New York... no snowstorm can ever diffuse the warmth of your greetings deep in my heart...
