i have a lot of friends around warminster, so these are the varsity football home games for my high school alma mater this year. anyone can attend (not just alumni). they arent as exciting as college or pro football, but they are entertaining and a great low cost date or just to get out on a friday night if you dont have other plans. i usually read a book before the game, do some work during the game, and get something to eat before i leave. i suggest bringing your own drink. 090514 7p v Samuel Fels 091214 7p v Oxford 092714 1p v Council Rock N 100214 7p v Central Bucks E 102414 7p v Harry S. Truman admission is only $7 and food is very inexpensive too (cheaper than burger kings value menu). plenty of room and bleacher seating or you can stand. there is no free wifi in the stands, but there is cell phone reception. before the games there is some kind of carnival for 1-2 hours to raise more money followed by one of the bands marches. its a toned down carnival but its not too shabby. i like to sit near the marching band so i can see whats going on. i did marching band for 4 years in high school and 2 years in college. i did stands only marching band for almost 8 straight years if you count the years i was not in marching band in college when i just played in the stands. i like to sit near the back of the marching band, so you can look for me. im usually alone unless my parents come. the field is at william tennent high school behind the building. you really cannot miss it, trust me. im surprised how bright it is at night. parking is free. there is a night of only marching bands around the middle of football season, but i dont think ill attend that. centennialsd.org/site/default.aspx?domainid=53 these people who i know might attend.
