i have finally (re)discovered the way to get sufficient magnesium into mum to combat the insomnia so commonly suffered by people in their latter years. As magnesium is critical in the sleep process and our bodies manufacture less than we need as we age, it is vital to use supplements. I get my magnesium via transdermal magnesium therapy (baths using high quality magnesium chloride bath flakes) but due to the osteo-arthritis mum has suffered the last few years she cannot get OUT of the bath, so that option is no longer viable for her. For several weeks i tried her on footbaths with the flakes, etc, but that was having minimal success and eventually she tired of the routine. However, i knew she would need SOME magnesium so i got her to start putting a drop or two of the magnesium oil in a glass of water first thing each morning. She just got up and, with a smile, confessed she had her best sleep in ages last night. Each night since i started her on it, the sleep was a little better. Last night she slept right through for the first time in months. Get magnesium.
