i just want to say one thing about what happened to that young Man ...I am an ex policeman from my home town Knoxville Tennessee ... when I was on patrol I encountered so many individuals that were suspicious i never ever first thought about killing a human being , and I had the power to do so , I would kick ur ass before i pulled my weapon .. there is no way Zimmerman was threatened by that teenager , if so ...he should not have been in that position ( especially with a deadly weapon ) ... it was so many times i witnessed other officers beating people and i would not let my myself be pulled in to that ... i only used enough force to affect an arrest ( most times i could accomplish that with no problem at all ) ... if you need to pull a weapon , it should the last resort ...and most of the officers have partners , your training should be such that you both can over power a person ... if your not capable "Dont join the force" we were there to protect not scare or theaten people , I dont care what other peole say , that young Man lost his life for nothing and its not right!! ...it all harkins back to gun control, which our wonderful President is trying to change ... to say otherwise is absolutely wrong ....period!
