i learned this from my mom, Randa Khader Rafeedie, who does it every year since we were little without saying a word to anyone...so, today, i am going to do it.... heading to the store to buy a turkey and drop it off at the SALVATION ARMY.....if you cant afford it, even just a $3 bag of potatoes or a few boxes of instant stuffing goes a long, long way to feeding people in the area that need it...... no negative comments about the homeless people, or people that are unemployed and cant feed their families...yes, some people are lazy...yes, too many people take advantage of the welfare system...but NOBODY, especially children. should ever be hungry......so before stupid black friday comes around for all of you dummies that wait in line and freeze overnight to get a laptop for half price ...before everyone maxes out their credit cards on bullshit christmas gifts and are in debt for the next year because of it, take a few dollars to buy some food, then take a few minute drive to a shelter or the salvation army nearest you.....it is such a simple deed that goes a long, long way...... i may not have always listened to you growing up mama, but in this case, i never forgot your kindness towards those less fortunate...thats why i love you
