i like to dance. i didn’t really notice particular interest …no, i did. yes, i truly did. i don’t know what possessed me to do it and to do through dance. 1955 at 22 – i was back in denmark to continue architectural degree, and while doing school work, working part job, i put together a show of paintings …in jackson pollack school of chaos & accident, a leap into the associative abyss of my mind. i developed a movement choreography in front of these paintings, while guests, at the gallery opening, watched exhibition of forty of these ‘spontaneous paint pourings’, and my companion played jazzy riffs on her guitar – this danish-american danced in a leotard. i was possessed! 10 years later, i enroll in classes of Limon and MacKayle afro-cuban for one year; then 8 years still later, i embark on 13 straight years of daily modern dance classes. and five years after that i launch into social dance for the next 10 years study all dances, and finally the argentine tango. my love. https://vimeo/106465927
