i love each of my dogs and cannot imagine life without any one of them. however, sometimes, as a single mom of three, i wish there was only one. meal times are particularly challenging -- gus cant see but smells fine so he gets hyper, mookie is just nuts and, now, sanchez joins in the insanity. theres a system. sanchez gets food first, gus gets treats first, mookie is last on everything because hes the newest and youngest dude, for the evening meal, all three dogs bark; used to be mookie, then gus joined in. about two weeks ago sanchez joined the barking. ARRRGGGGH ... grant me patience. this morning, i put sanchez bowl down, gave him permission to eat, put gus bowl down, gave him permission to eat, then mookies bowl went down, instead of eating, or waiting for one of the other dogs to finish so i could put his food into one of their bowls, he lifted his leg and peed on the stove.
