i must go on record about sarah robbins and her husband, phil: these are two of the most spirit-filled individuals that ive ever spent time with. the real deal. besides their counsel to sara and myself regarding where we are to go from here, i personally witnessed them take an entire hour out of their night (actually it was 1:00 am) to listen to the story of, counsel, pray for, and then both mentally and financially restore a complete stranger that was in despair; the entire time claiming the divinity of the occurrence - considering that theyre never out that late. or, for that matter, lounging around in a hotel lobby. and they did this all with absolutely no attention being drawn to themselves, just like its an everyday occurrence. of course i consider ourselves somewhat generous with our own blessings; however, this is completely how we strive to be one day with the resources given to us. yes, ive given strangers money before; but ive never given an hour of my own time to hear their compete story, pray, and then restore them. and, if im being completely honest, many times the circumstances of such occurrences evolved as a result of myself being fearful of my own (or my familys) safety. as in here... take this money. i dont care how much it is; but youre creepy... so leave me alone. well... sarah and phil were the complete opposite of that... and im all about calling it as i see it: THEY ARE FOR REAL. and i only hope that someone will say the same thing about me one day. as for her counsel to us regarding how we were recently wronged, she said to pray for those that did so. defiant, considering that it wasnt exactly the answer that i wanted to hear, i mentioned that i could not possibly bring myself to do so... at least not yet... her response: then pray for their innocent children. wow.
