i posted this comment on this article improved health care, thats one of the biggest lies.. I have just spent 4 days at the O R Tambo Memorial Hospital in Boksburg, i was supposed to have a cataract removed. if you care to read my experience i have put it all down in a blog post ..cyntayexperience.wordpress... I sent that the the health minister, this was nearly 2 weeks ago not had a reply, I sent it to Jack Bloom Heath Minister of the DA he sent it on to a Dr Naidoo at the hospital .. not heard a word.. I wont hold my breath... This is my experience but its also the same experience every patient at that hospital is going through. The FERH is not much better or worse, out patients at the FERH the drs are worse than useless, they dont examine u just pill push - it took 9 months for them to diagnose me with Congestive heart failure. it took a young black doctor to admit that he did not know enough and sent me to JHB gen as it was called then . the battery of pills that i was prescribed at the FERH damaged my heart so badly... the Charlotte Maxeke (ex jhb gen) I have to admit the heart specialists are fantastic. but my experience in the wards was not very good. doctors are top notch but i had a black nurse who was exceptionally nasty to me. I have a friend currently in the South Rand hospital , she is ready to tear her hair out, she fell down a sewer, and has three holes in her shin which infected, they operated and removed to rotted flesh she is in extreme pain, the drs have prescribed strong pain killers, the nurse brings her a panado.!!! she wanted to walk out the hospital the nurse locked the gates so she could not leave.. so they employ gestapo tactics to keep the patients in those hell holes ... iol.co.za/news/politics/anc-report-admits-party-has-failed-1.1637176#.UuYxlbT8JQB
