i really must say i love the south american people. they carry their heart on their tongues and are always up for a crazy party. somehow i can relate to them very easily and feel comfortable wherever i am. there is not a problem that they can’t fix. sometimes it’s difficult for me to get the right food and people at restaurants easily get pissed of when i tell them over & over again: no meat, no fish, no cheese, no eggs, no dairy products and so forth…. not i south america. i told them to get a cup of beans just without anything else because i am a vegano and minutes later they bring me a huge plate of beans with potatoes, onion, corn, cooked bananas and some rice with vegetables, that pretty much sums it up. they are actually happy to do you something good. i miss that in our european folks sometimes. even though we had some issues yesterday with the technical set-up it was a great party and i was really happy to catch up with the lovely Camea too. she played a great set of deep techno which i really enjoyed. basically i just wanted to say that i am really sorry that due to matters out of my/our control i/we were only able to play 45 minutes, which is pretty terrible for me since i love to play 4-5 hours preferably and build my sets from slower deeper techno tracks to the harder banging stuff. anyway thanks for everything and hope to see you soon. i will be back. have a nice sunday everyone. safe travels to all my colleagues.
