i remember having attended a leadership training and part of the activity was to close our eyes and imaging holding a child, watching it grow up till it leaves us ... i remember well because my child was my father ... and i do remember crying my heart out .... . june 16 2010 was the day my dad died ... june 20 2010 was the day he was to turn 74 and june 20 was a fathers day ... i do remember that fateful day (night) ... i rushed home (cant imagine doing a 15min drive from rockwell business center ortigas to marikina :-) ... i was there ... i held his hand ... we grasped each other tightly ... i whispered "i am here" ... the warm touch ... the warm smile ... its still there in my mind and in my heart ... and that was his last moment ... he died in my arms ... i still cant overcome the sadness to this day ... i cant move on ... i cry myself everytime june 16/20 comes near ... i just wish that this day would never come ...
