i sent this letter today Dear Miss Sachet: I briefly went to the midnight sun last night and saw you there, as you get up to leave you put on a fur coat. I was very surprised and disgusted at the thought that people in this day and age still support torture even if it is on animals. I cant say that I follow your career step by step, but I admired your willingness to help a community, and enjoy seeing you doing interviews on any of the local channels. To me, you appeared to be a humble and compassionate person, but it seems that the compassionate stops only at humans. Having a facebook page I imagine that you have seen all of the horror clips that go around about how animals that are use in the fur industry are treated. Or have you not. If you havent, I can direct some your way, but just to describe you in a few words some of the horrors that they endure, they get caught in leg traps that would brake the bones, some are trapped for days before the trapper comes and takes them, some of them chew their legs off so they can scape. Theyre confined in small cages for months before they can be killed. They get killed be anal electrocution without anesthetics. Rabbits and racoon dogs get skinned while still alive. As i said, if you have not seen or read anything on this matter, I can make sure to send you information. But it only takes for you to do an internet search of fur farms, and you can find reputable websites that will show you how this unfashionable and unglamorous business work. There are countless celebrities that are against wearing fur, and even the most reputable fashion show in the media, project runway does not allow any fur in its competition. Tim Gunn one of the shows host has made a video regarding this subject that you can easily find on the internet. Animal fur, from dogs and cats, has also been found on the so called faux fur from china, and the city of west Hollywood has a ban on all fur within its limits. Miss Sachet, I hope that you can follow all of the compasionate people in the world that would like to stop this gruesome activity just for the sake of a few garments.
