i spent the last three days listening and relistening to this - TopicsExpress

i spent the last three days listening and relistening to this interview, from a reputable friend who shared it with me, while ive been drawing or collaging. i still havent read any of wallaces works, but i can see what past profs or friends have drawn comparisons to when i talk interpersonally with them. i think part of the reason i havent read his work is because of the suicide now tied with his name. i dont want to sound complainy about hearing or reading bogus inconsiderate things on the daily because it is my choice to have my work in a public spectrum, so its part of the privilege of existing there. i just think most of what i read on here including my own, can more or less just be regurgitating information without any real thought put behind it. i just think its worth considering and noting all the technological advancements the internet has provided to society in social networking sites and the effects of it. html boards i remember had a ton of politically incorrect(p.c. is a dumb term since no political system has proven itself correct) conversations where ppl mostly hid behind fake names with no faces to be very rude; where i think the evolution of fb has really devolved culture to a micro or macrocosm of the american highschool experience with similar social pressures. (hype, cyber bullying, gossip, etc) food for thought, but i think probably anyone who hasnt seen this would benefit from the hour plus rather then what your netflix sitcom or tv will give you tonight.(also the context in how the interview was supposed to be, to how its being presented now is pretty unreal in regards to what the artist agreed to pre and during interview) heres to totally getting 100 likes.
