i support katikkiro charles peter mayigas initiatives...his decision to go to the diaspora is also commendable because buganda needs to engage with its people and well wishers wherever they are not just for fundraising reasons but for several other reasons.i however do not expect the diaspora to provide the sort of amounts of money we saw and still see being raised in uganda...partly because ugandans in the diaspora are more particular about how they spend and what they spend on.that way of doing things is also a good thing.i call it responsible living.in part cultivated by the pattern of life and way of doing things in those communities where they are.nevertheless the katikkiro is on a good purpose.please diaspora...give as much as you can.the results are visible.
