i tend to refrain from long, serious posts on this page, but here is one. i wrote this song, about 4 years ago, in a terrible mood. All around me, my musician friends were starting to find success, and i was still writing shitty raps over beats i wanted to sound like ATCQ, but definitely did not. i was stuck in a rut and angry that no one cared about my awful music. i sat on my bed one night and just spoke the lyrics to this song, entirely free, and then scrambled to write it down. Its had three videos and three re-records over the years, and it has never been left off a live show, no matter how short the show is, no matter what the crowd is like. i still feel everything ive expressed in this song, and if anything, i feel it stronger now that i put time and effort into everything i do.
