i think the government ought to get out of our personal lives, completely. who the hell are they to recognize MARRIAGE? marriage is a RELIGIOUS TERM that is defined by ones religion. who the hell is the STATE to dictate someones definition of MARRIAGE???? if the state wishes to allow 2 individuals to join legally, recognized by the state? then they should allow for a legal union and dispense with the WORD marriage. my minister says IF CHRISTIANS AND JEWS WISH TO RESERVE MARRIAGE UNTO THE CHURCH? THEN ALL MARRIED COUPLES NEED TO BECOME LEGALLY DIVORCED, TAKE THE TAX CREDIT/PENALTY under the law … and then renew their vows at their own church or temple. CASE CLOSED. I COULDNT AGREE MORE.
