i used to spray my vegetable garden at the same time every day. The humming birds would come and i would aim the spray in the air, and they would bathe for 30 minutes. Then i would fill the troughs between my plants with water and the garden snake would come out from his hiding place and swim. Now when i mow the grass, the butterflies come to me and dance in front of me. Every year the red-tailed hawks build their nests in my eucalyptus trees. And at night, the owls that live in my trees swoop back and forth in search of prey. Right around midnight the nightbirds sing for about 45 minutes right outside my bedroom door door that go outside. In the morning, the dozens of doves that live in my trees congregate in front of my door and wait..... I LOVE NATURE.
