i wanted to share my cradle cap experience with other mums ------- Please post... i wanted to share my cradle cap experience with other mums in case this works for others. my 3 month old son had had bad cradle cap all over his head since he was about 1 and a half months. We have tried everything to get rid of it... shampoo, olive oil, rosehip oil, breast milk... You name it. I finally threw all advice out the window and just did what Id do if I had a patch of bad skin. For about four days now I have been following this routine and my babies head is almost 100%. 1. Dont use shampoo or body wash in the bath...Just plain water and wipe over head gently with a face cloth. After bath use qv skin lotion in head, just the normal kind... Nothing special. im guessing anything like this would work as long as its irritant free and ph balanced. I reapply at most feeding times or whenever his head feels dry. i alsoruin a warm wash cloth overt his head and face each morning followed by qv lotion. lastly we sleep with the humidifier on every night. Thats it! Hope this works for others! I know what a pain cradle cap is!
