i was asked if i could have done anything differently when i retired by one of my retiring brothers. it made me think, so i am posting the answer here: i wish i could have found Stanfords kryptonite. i wish i was preparred for every time someone threw a curveball at me. i wished i could have found the fountain of skinny and had an oppertunity to have been in longer. i wish i could personally tell every Marine i served with that i am always there for them, i will forever be gunny bixby/ steve/ dumbass ect. i wish i had saved 50 percent from each check so id have had something to retire on. i wish id spent more time studying for a degree and less time at the strip club stuffing dollars in strippers butt cracks. i wish i had drank less and fished more. but i wouldnt have changed anything.
