i was in a special ed class, in junior high school. though i was tested at about two or three grades ahead of me; still, i was very shy and was overwhelmed by the move in culture shock, from a tiny island, to a huge school that had more students in the two grades at that one school, than the whole island i grew up on, had on the whole island. for whatever reasons students may deserve special attention for, many do need it. i had a great time there, with my wonderful teachers and classmates. they really helped me get through that difficult transition. yes - i did, take "the small bus" to school. it was fun, too! =) Thank you teachers and education system whoever you are, for providing special needs educations.
