i was in the grocery store, when a lady walked by with a man who clearly had some sort of intellectual disability. suddenly he violently wopped himself upside his head 3 or 4 times. it scared me (i startle easily) but it also overwhelmed me emotionally- (i damn near cried-but i held that shit together lol) so let me just say this: Lord forgive me for ever complaining. About anything. We take so much for granted. I was so overwhelmed- by not only being sad to see someone hurt themselves(and obviously for his overall condition) but at the sheer grace and compassion of his caregiver. Take nothing for granted. Each day you wake up healthy, (and for those of you who are parents) and your children are healthy - is an *incredible* blessing. Stay in awe of these seemingly simple gifts.
