i was thinking about doing this earlier and i know Ive touched upon how this offends me but this sudden movement of "country being the IN thing"... is sad. the entire face of everything from country music to camouflage. after watching the CMT awards it shoulda been called the pop country awards. and all these people these days wearin boots and cowboy hats everywhere.. sooo many guys claiming their bull riders and most likely they cant hang on a mechanical bull for 8 seconds.. the direction country music as a whole is taking is disgusting.. peple like hunter hayes beating out more traditional sounding wholesome artists like lee brice..and florida georgia line cleaning house over muchhh more talented people then them... morale of the story is dont follow trends.. figure out who you are and be that person.. ive been the way i am since i realized who i was at age 13.. just improved upon it since. i take offense to country being a trend because i grew up on 10 acres and 5 years ago moved to 52 acres of a dream come true, i rode horses for half my life, still am involved in the raising of our cattle and ive always loved my guns my 4 wheel drives.. notice i never say muddin... THERES NO MUDDIN on the west coast!!!.. big pet peeve right there.. i get offended that country is a trend.. the people go to places like stoney wearing the jason aldean hats and shiny boots to try and pick up buckle bunnys and wanna be redneck girls.. i am the way i am.. i dont have to wear camo ever were.. i dont have to wear my hat and boots everywhere but my neck is atleast 5 shades redder then the average wanna be. just realize who you are and be that person, trying to be a country boy wont pick up women or make you look cool.. trying to be a country girl wont make you more attractive and most likely will attract all the wrong guys.. just be who you are, dont try to be something your not end of rant
