i would just like to tell my wonderful friends and family some news i had yesterday.as u all know my daughter jessie was diagnoised with hodgkins lymphoma back in june.it was a massive shock to us especially as id only lost my lovely dad 2 months before after he fell asleep only 4 weeks after he was diagnoised with cancer love him. well jessie had her chemo and after it finished she had a scan then we had the awful news that chemo hadnt worked n possibly the cancer had spread !!!! i dont think i had any more tears in me to cry after hearing this. feeling so helpless as my baby suffered. she had a P.E.T. scan on monday and we had a call from consultant yesterday to say the scan infact showed scar tissue n the spread they saw was also scar tissue from the cheno. you know what we were told ? she is CANCER FREE !!!! i feel very blessed that she is going to be ok n thank each and everyone of u for all your kibd words thoughts and support through this awful time.you will never kbow that though some of my darkest moments a small comment on here changed everything.bless u all n i love u xxx eternally grateful. les n john xxx
