id like to proudly announce that the free mmr productions la/oc/ie/lv shows has just landed another sponsor to help pay for all the show expenses. the whole free show concept started off as a counter attack towards the pay to play shows that didnt offer much to the bands. as a 10 year musician in a band myself, i know all too well how discouraging it felt to pay out of pocket in the past years just to be on a show, and even suffered a loss of former band members over it. to hear that orange county is down for their metal and willing to support the local unsigned bands, should be something the other counties need to follow up on. you can feel the difference in the peoples vibes when they dont have to be shook at the door for cash, let alone the bands. so i am proud to state that there will be alot more free shows every month at jaspers in santa ana. now my next step is to get la and las vegas on the same page as well as one last sponsor to cover the costs of the headlining bands. cheers. \m/
