if you have ever done street ministry, there are many times a person gets healed, saved, or delivered, but you may not see them again, at least in this lifetime. is it a waste of time to do this? what if the person doesnt come and fellowship with you later? are they truly saved? many differ on the level of sanctification it takes for salvation to be sure. religion has the tendecy to dimish grace, the Blood of Jesus, and the free gift of salvation. religion always makes a mixture of limited grace, and observing the law for salvation. obedience to God, His perfect will, and His Word is for sure what Holy Spirit will lead us into once He has indwelt us, but we are not working to get salvation, we are working from our salvation. without the beginnig of grace in us, the Blood of Jesus bringing forgiveness of our sin, no amout of works can save us, nor make us acceptable to Papa. Mar 4:26 And He said, The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, Mar 4:27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. Mar 4:28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. Mar 4:29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come. this is the picture Jesus shows us of how the evangelist spreads the Word. this seed after being sown will sprout and grow, we may not even know how. heaven is in charge of the seed, it is Gods Word, it will not return to Him null and void. whether we see the person who gets saved again or not, for sure God does. He is able to make divine appointments for the new believer, to bring others into their lives. once the Holy Spirit lives in a person, He is relentless, He brings the kingdom of heaven to the new believer. for sure the best thing is for a new believer to get discipled and be in fellowship. when doing street ministry, we invite everyone to a Bible study, or church. we give out Bibles, and encourage them to read them, and spend time with Jesus everyday. i guess i just wanted to encourage those who go out in the market place to preach the kingdom to the lost. like Jesus said, once the seed has been sown, we may not know how the seed sprouts, grows, and makes a crop, but for sure He does, and Jesus is in charge!
