if you havent seen this video yet...then this could very well be the most inspirational video you watch all week. this is the story of how the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge started, and the person behind it all. I posted this yesterday as a comment in my status, and throughout the day...ive received messages from those who originally shunned this fad to tell me that it has definitely changed their perception of the Ice Bucket Challenge...especially now that they know the origin behind it. If you have already done the challenge but you havent seen this video, you should watch it, and feel better about what you have already done to help. If you havent done the challenge or if you are against the whole idea of it, i ask you to also watch this video too. not because i want it to change your mind, but just so you can understand more of why this is a thing we are all doing & why it means so much. im sorry if i keep posting alot about this, but i think this is a very important time for us as humans. this fun fad has brought millions upon millions of us together all in the name of charity. People are donating to something special that they may (or may not) know much about, but they are feeling good for doing it and having fun in the process. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having fun in the name of charity. This ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is only the beginning... and because of its success you better believe there will be more of these on its way...and we may finally be able to see other overlooked, unheard of or rarely thought about diseases or charities get the funding they need to improve research & treatment.
