if you want to build a shed to put a lawn mower, boat, other than human inhabitance get ready for a night mare with the permits.. i have been through the mill and paying for permits on every angle.. height elevations, foundation plans, electricity fees, water fees, parish assessment, engineer to draw the foundation plan, and that is not counting the cost for material for cement and building, plus erecting the building.. this is just to build a shed.. i had heard about the FEMA regulations but it is ridiculous.. i am in hopes that this building can be built before i die.. waiting on this and that is just too much.. all this for a SHED.. we no longer can build things on our own property without someone telling you how and when to do it..
