(ii)# The Woman And Her Mischievous Children# ------------------------------------------------------------------ (REVELATION 17:5) tells us that the mother of harlots, whose origin is in Babylon, has given birth to all the false religions of the world: "And upon her forehead was a name written ,MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" Who are some of these harlots? New Age religion, Satan worship, mother earth worship, globalism, Hinduism, Islam, apostate Christianity. All of these are daughters of this false religion. There is a new religion to which they espouse called "monism". From Greek word monos,="single" The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy defines monism like this: "The meaning applies to any doctrine or theory that claims that all things, no matter how many or of what variety, can be reduced to one unified thing in time, space ,or quality." If combine monism and pantheism(pan="all" and theism meaning "God"), you get the belief that everything is God=fundamental philosophy behind most New Age thinkers. These people want to unify the religions of the world. as a matter of fact, a charter has been formed for an organization in the United Nations for united religions. Pope Paul II, the Dalai Lama, and the leaders of the World Council of Churches have endorsed religious unity. A worldwide religion is coming!
