im going to open my mouth again. a friend of mine posted something that I really find interesting. you may not like what im going to say but I dont give a damn. all these so called Christians talking about whats wrong with the world. I quit believing a lot of that garbage a long time ago when I found out how crooked preachers can be. I thought being saved was suppose to be a joyous thing. I went to church for years and neither found it joyous or amusing. singing in the choir and wondering if anybody knew I was gay. being told this is a sin and that is a sin by church members while they cast judgement on people and cheated on their spouses. being told my dad was in hell because he didnt speak in tongues and told I needed to speak in tongues to prove god lived in me. when I came out of the closet I was told I was welcome back at church but I could not participate in the service because of my lifestyle. I wont say who said it. but I will say that it hurt really bad.i can say one thing. I am proud of who I am. I will not apologize for it. if going to church means covering up who I am or being treated as a second class citizen or member, then id rather stay home. if yo are gong to cast judgement on me or any of my friends, then brother or sister, let me make a suggestion...sweep around your own back door! gay marriage is not hurting your marriage. if it is, then your marriage may need some work itself. ask yourself: are you religious or spiritual? if you take offense to this or you assume im talking about you then maybe you need to rethink your so called salvation!
