im hoping to start a pensioners club after xmas in the youth club, there is nothing around here for them at all and it is about time there is, im thinking of packs of playing cards, dominoes, maybe a few board games,giving them some lunch, them having a chat and a game of bingo, im hoping to start this on a friday afternoon, i am starting to collect prizes for the bingo, including food prizes, meat, mini hampers, sweets and also smelly sets, i am also hoping to raise enough throughout the year to take them out on a day trip somewhere, i am going to do a christmas bingo to start this off and then the pensioners club starts after xmas. any prizes that you could donate please pass on to me so i can get the ball rolling. even pick up a few bits each week while shopping so we can make sure the pensioners of halebank get a decent meal each week. please spread the word, lets get together as a community and help the older generation get together over the long winter months, also for the pensioners that cant walk up to the youth club, i will pick up in the car or arrange somebody to collect them. x
