im in the process of selling a bunch of Amazon gift cards that i earned from using various cash apps and im a bit perplexed as to why someone would want to pay extra for them when they can just purchase it from Amazon for the full price and get the amount they paid for. so why do i see people continuously paying a extra $1 or more for them? i have no idea. i do have some plausible theories. my hypothesis is that some buyers are overseas buyers who may not have offshore accounts. You see Amazon doesnt accept paypal so to purchase on there you would need to pay by debit/credit card or using gift certificates/cards/codes. And since Paypal makes it so easy for people to open an account and transfer money to people all over the world, i assume thats one possible scenario. Then again, the highest bidder right now is from the US so i guess another possibility is that maybe these gift codes are more valuable because they are easily interchangeable where you can give it to anybody to redeem. So i can see that as convenient. or maybe they refuse to put their credit/debit card on file at Amazon so they purchase it on ebay with paypal instead. Really you dont even need to have a bank account or card to use paypal. All you really need is a email account. Hmm.. and of course they could also just be scammers xD anyway, if all goes well i plan on selling a lot more cards. If anybody is interested, im offering all cards for $1 off the actual value. So $5 card for $4, $9 for a $10 card, or $19 for a $20 card. just pm me.
